TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Tailored, your personal AI-powered wardrobe and styling assistant.
By downloading or using Tailored (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use.
Please read them carefully before using the service.

1. Overview

Tailored (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides users with AI-based wardrobe insights, outfit recommendations, and related styling tools.
By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use Tailored. Tailored is not intended for children under 13.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that all information you provide (e.g. wardrobe uploads, preferences) is accurate and lawful.

3. Account and Access

  • You must create an account to access most features of the App.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, or compromise security.

  • Withdrawing Consent: If you withdraw consent for AI processing, Tailored will be unable to provide features requiring wardrobe photo analysis.

  • You may withdraw consent by deleting your account or contacting support at contact@tailored-to-you.com.

  • All associated data will be deleted upon account deletion which can be triggered in app settings or contacting support at contact@tailored-to-you.com and deletion of your personal data will be completed within 30 days including all uploaded and generated data and media.

4. Use of the App

  • Tailored is for personal, non-commercial use only.

  • You agree not to upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

  • Outfit and shopping recommendations are generated for inspiration and convenience; Tailored is not responsible for the accuracy, price, or availability of external products.

  • AI Processing  is required to provide core features such as wardrobe analysis, outfit visualisation, and item evaluation, Tailored processes some of your uploaded photos and text using OpenAI’s API. By using these features, you agree to this processing. 

  • OpenAI does not store your data and assigns all rights in the outputs to Tailored.

5. Subscriptions, Style Credits, and Payments

Some features require a subscription or one-off in-app purchases. These purchases are processed securely through the Apple App Store and RevenueCat. Tailored does not store any payment card details.

Subscriptions

  • Unlimited access to all features is enabled via subscription (billed monthly or annually).

  • Auto-renew until cancelled in your App Store account settings.

  • You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device settings.

  • If you cancel, you retain access until the end of the current billing period.

Consumable Purchases (Style Credits) for Pay-Per-Use Premium Features

  • For your convenience, Tailored offers optional in-app purchases of consumables called Style Credits, which can be used to unlock certain premium features on a pay-per-use basis without requiring a subscription.

  • Style Credits belong to you and cannot be transferred, traded, or exchanged with other users. They do not expire and can only be redeemed for the premium feature usage described in the app.

  • Style Credits are consumed immediately when used, do not renew, and cannot be refunded once consumed, except where required by local law or App Store policies.

  • Using Style Credits provides instant access to the selected premium feature (e.g., item evaluation, outfit visualisation).

  • Lost or accidentally used Style Credits cannot be restored, unless required by local regulations or App Store rules.

  • Purchases of Style Credit packs are final and non-refundable.

  • You can view your current Style Credit balance in the app, including on most pages or in your profile section (indicated by a diamond icon).

General

  • All purchases are final and governed by the Apple App Store’s payment terms.

  • Tailored does not offer direct refunds; refunds (if any) are handled by Apple.

6. Content Ownership

  • You retain ownership of the images and data you upload.

  • By uploading, you grant Tailored a limited licence to process your content solely to provide styling and recommendation services.

  • Images generated by the App (including but not limited to outfit visualisations and styling previews, product analysis, item visualisations and any other media or content generated by App to enable App functionality) are owned by Tailored.

  • Tailored grants users a personal, non-exclusive licence to view and use these images within the App for non-commercial purposes.

  • AI-generated styling outputs and recommendations are for personal use only and may not be resold.

  • Tailored OOD uses OpenAI’s API which assigns all rights to outputs and generated content to the API customer. Tailored OOD is the contractual API customer and therefore holds full ownership rights over all AI-generated content within the Tailored application.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All rights in the App, name, logo, algorithms, design, and related materials belong to Tailored Ltd EOOD.

  • You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the App without written consent.

  • All AI-generated images, evaluations, recommendations, and related outputs created through the App are owned by Tailored. 

  • Tailored grants you a personal, non-exclusive licence to view and use these outputs within the App for non-commercial purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided on an “as-is” basis without any warranties of any kind.

  • Tailored is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the App.

  • We do not guarantee that AI-generated recommendations or linked products will meet your expectations.

9. Third-Party Links

  • The App may display or link to third-party websites or products for illustrative shopping purposes.

  • These links are provided for convenience only. Tailored does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices of external sites.

  • Users should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites they visit.

10. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting us at contact@tailored-to-you.com. When you delete your account, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

  • We may suspend or terminate your access to Tailored if we reasonably believe that:

    • you have breached these Terms,

    • you are misusing or attempting to misuse the service,

    • you are engaging in fraudulent, harmful, or inappropriate behaviour, or

    • continued access would violate applicable laws or regulations.

  • Where appropriate, we will give you notice before taking action and an opportunity to correct the issue, unless doing so would expose Tailored or other users to risk.

11. User Responsibilities

When using Tailored, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when creating your profile.

  • Only upload photos and content that you have the right to use.

  • Not upload illegal, harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.

  • Not attempt to misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the App, its backend systems, or other users.

  • Not attempt to bypass, manipulate, or interfere with subscription features, Style Credits, or in-app purchases.

  • Use Tailored only for personal, non-commercial purposes.

  • Comply with all applicable laws when using the App.

We may suspend access to the App if we reasonably believe these responsibilities are being violated, as described in the Termination section.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria (EU), excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
Your local mandatory consumer protection rights are not affected.

13. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time as we improve our offering.

  • If significant changes occur, we will notify users via in-app message or email.

  • Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
